From Genoa in Italy, Rossi began his racing in earnest in the CIV pre-Moto3 Championship in 2014. He did two races and then returned in 2015, before another season in the category the following season alongside some appearances in the FIM CEV Repsol Moto3 Junior World Championship. In 2017 he competed in Moto3 in the CIV and the CEV, before 2018 gave him his springboard as he became a race winner in the CIV and finished in the top 15 overall in the CEV. He moved onto the world stage with Gresini for 2019 and in 2020 will look to become a regular finisher inside the points with BOE Skull Rider in 2020.
