John started the weekend in a very positive way with the first place in the FP1 but he gave a significant ground in the following practices. In the race he progressed during the first laps to set the fastest lap of the race in the second one and get the eighth position during the sixth one. From that moment, he started to losing time and placed himself in the second group of the race.
Masaki started the race far from the top but has recovered some places during the first laps and pushed a lot during the last four laps to recover six more positions. The Japanese has shown his potential and has made it clear that with a better practice result, we can see him in the fight for the top places.
Good practices performance for Makar, placing himself 1.8 from the pole position after regaining the self-confidence he had lacked in previous races. He has maintained positions during the first five laps of the race, but in the sixth one he lost many places and has not been able to complete the last lap.
It’s been a very bad weekend for Xavi Cardelús in Jerez. The injury of his left hand has not allowed him to ride with precision and his lap times have been far from those he had scored in the preseason test at the same track. In these conditions, finishing the race was the only Sunday goal.
