Riccardo Rossi scores points in the championship
The Boe Owlride rider battled for the podium in the second group of the race.
Riccardo Rossi fought for the podium during the race and for the points. The rider, who started third, has been riding in the first groups with the option to climb the podium at Silverstone. During his fight, Rossi managed to finish ninth and add seven new points to the world championship. His teammate Stefano Nepa rode in the most crowded group on the grid. Nepa fought for the points, but finally finished seventeenth due to a penalty.
During the WUP, the Boe Owlride drivers took the opportunity to check how the track was for the race. In addition, Riccardo Rossi lapped in 2:13:146 which placed him in tenth position in the timed lap. Stefano Nepa did a time of 2:13:304 which gave him the fourteenth position of the WUP.
