DAKAR STAGE 5: AL-ULA - HA´IL

Before the motorcycle riders went out to the special, our assistance truck with the mechanics Abel Rodriguez and Antonio Cantizano got underway, since they also had a good kilometer until they reached the Bivouac de Ha´il. The team's press car with Daniel Lainsa, Víctor Cuervo and Murchi went first to the exit of the special to wait for the departure of our only driver in the race as of today, Joan Pedrero. Then they would go to the photo points that the organization gives and to have those images that we like to see so much.
Our pilot Joan Pedrero was going to find in the first kms a real challenge of skill and navigation, where the sand was the protagonist with sections of stone that made the pilots slow down.
Then they would reach a plateau with some difficult steps to pass, then navigation made them be used thoroughly, the final part with more sand being an area where finding the wp has been complicated.
